After releasing her first two singles "Agua de rosas" and "Nostalgia del Ñame", the Cartagena’s artist Diana Tovar presents "Amanecer", her third single that is part of the album “Canciones de Mar y Río”, with the collaboration and participation of the great artist Lucía Pulido.

This song with a river and jungle flavor is inspired and nurtured by the Colombian Pacific music in the form of Juga and Currulao. It was recorded in block at Estudios Audiovisión and featured the musical production of the Oscar Alford, the engineer Stefano Pizzaia and the musical arrangements of Santiago Sandoval. Additional recordings with Lucía Pulido were made in Epia Estudios by Engineer Rafael Santamaría.

Diana Tovar and Lucía Pulido, together for the first time, make this song a landscape that plays with the great peaceful sounds full of magic and color, with an air of wood, gutter, jungle, river and moonlit nights. "Amanecer" was attended by great artists from the Colombian music scene: Lucía Pulido in the blunt voice and choirs, Santiago Sandoval on the Guitar, Julián Gómez on the Double bass, Adrián Sabogal on the Marimba de chonta, Wilmer Guzmán on the Cribs and choirs, Leonel Merchán in the Hype, Guasá and choirs, Diego Cadavid Sebelek in the Drawer and choirs, and Angélica Murcia and Lorena Cifuentes in the choirs.

In 2020 Diana Tovar will release the complete album consisting of ten songs, which she has called Songs of sea and river, an invitation to explore a landscape where water, sea, mountains and rivers are the protagonists, with stories and particular experiences that they make their music something genuine, powerful and alive. Through different rhythms, the album narrates and evokes our cultural identity with a look towards the rural from Colombian music as a great inspiration, and in a language that it translates into its forms, lyrics, messages and style permeated by the city.
